Zoo Johor


Zoo Johor is the oldest Zoo in Malaysia which started at 1928. There are around 100 or more than that species of animals in the Zoo such as lion, tiger, bear, indian tapir, chimpanzee, sun bear and so on. The operating hour will be 8:30am to 5:00pm. It located at Jalan Gertak Merah, Taman Istana, 80000 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia.

It is very suitable for family bonding place as the entrance fee is only RM2 for adults and RM1 for children who are below 12 years old.  There are also having horse riding for the children and walk around the park. Besides, the pond is available for the fun boat ride with complete set of facilities. There will be workers provide assistance to you.

Other than that, visitors can have a picture with different animals and feed the animals food. But, they are only requires to feed the animals with the food provided by the workers. Visitors can also require to have a close encounters with snake.

During August to November of 2016, we are having community service in Zoo Johor because of it, we are giving a chance to getting closer with the animals in Zoo.







At that time, our job are  help to clean the cage of animals, feed them foods, and sweep the ground as well. It was a great experience for all of us.
