The name of Batu Pahat comes from the Malay language, where ‘batu’ means the rock and ‘pahat’ means the chisel. From the significant statue we can see a pair of hands using a chisel to tap on the rock. According to the history, the origin of the name of Batu Pahat comes from a well at the Minyak Beku, which is located in Batu Pahat. As nowadays people rely on their smartphones or laptops almost all the time and their communication in reality is getting lesser and lesser. While this is a great opportunity where people gets to talk and communicate with each other without neglecting the human feelings around us.
